Bridge Youth Update
First, I am praying for you all and your families, as you begin to make plans on how to navigate there being no school after March Break until April.
These are definitely unfortunate and difficult times, but may I encourage you all to continue to remind yourself that you are loved and cared for by a God who is in complete control. For me, I know that is where I will find my comfort as things continue to unfold—our God is good; our God is great!
I am emailing to address specifically what will be happening going forward with regards to the youth ministry on Friday nights. The staff and board are in agreement that we will be suspending Friday Night Youth until the end of the month; starting tomorrow night. And in these coming weeks, there will be decisions made on what is to happen in April and future months; as we continue to watch things develop.
Reason being, one of the key things in helping contain and/or help stop the spread of COVID-19, is to avoid gathering in large groups. So, as a youth ministry we are going to be socially responsible and make the decision to do just that; not gather in a large group.
During this time, I will be posting the youth lessons on our Instagram account (thebridge.youth) and will sort out how to get it on YouTube as well. So, make sure your family is following us on Instagram (thebridge.youth), because it will be one of the primary ways that the youth ministry will stay connected with the youth.
Please continue to be on the lookout for more information to come. And if you have any questions or concerns, please email me.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor of Student Ministries
