SHARE Food Drive: Christmas edition
Why a Christmas Food Drive?
CBC reports that Food Banks in Canada have shown the highest numbers since 1989. By adding a Christmas edition of our annual food drive, the bridge will help the Markham Food Bank and Master’s Pantry to fill this gap, so that they can continue to offer good grocery support to our local Markham community.
Food Banks have difficulty providing the minimum amount of grocery support—especially during holiday seasons—so we want to support them and the Markham community this Christmas!

Help us reach our donation goal of
$10,000

Get involved!
Consider filling one of the shopping lists as an individual or shop as a family and complete one list for each family member. Get out as a LifeGroup and do a group shop. Reach out and invite neighbours, teammates, or co-workers to fill a bag. When we work together, we can accomplish much more for the many people in need within our local community.
- Please stick to these lists as much as possible. We revise these lists each year to align with the current needs of the food bank.
- Please check that donated items are not expired.
- Please do not bring food items that require refrigeration.
- Bulk or larger sized items are acceptable, however 2–3 regular sized containers can be more easily shared with more people.
2023 collection dates
Please drop off all food donations to the bridge at 5440 16th Avenue, Markham, on December 3 or December 10.
