Kidzone: December 10 Update
The Christmas season at the bridge is well underway! Did you know this year’s Christmas Eve services will be on Sunday, December 19th at either 3:15pm or 5:15pm? Join us! We’d LOVE to see your family. You can register starting Dec. 12th at 7pm HERE. Though we will not be having in-person Kidzone that Sunday, we do have some fun & special Christmas swag bags for your kids that Sunday. There may even be a special treat for everyone as you exit! Looking forward to seeing you all!
We are headed into week 6 of IN-PERSON Kidzone at the bridge! It has been such a gift to minister in-person to 35 of our kids each week! We would love to welcome your kids to experience safe in-person ministry as well. Our Kidzone volunteers for Sunday ministry at TOB are fully vaccinated. Remember, registration is happening on bridgeconnect.ca and opens Sundays at 7pm for the following week.
THIS SUNDAY (December 12th) is Christmas Sweater Sunday! Don’t forget. Make sure to wear your Christmas Sweater, or Christmas colours, and join us as we worship Jesus together this weekend!
Our Kidzone Konnection Groups are back for the LAST Sunday until the new year, for those who registered, at 10am! Please remember to change the name on Zoom to your child’s name to help us get them in the correct break-out room quickly. A reminder that Konnection Groups will be taking a break until January 9th.
*There will be NO in-person Kidzone for JK-Grade 5 on Dec. 19th or 26th. Our parent check-in nursery will continue to remain open those 2 Sundays. Kidzone Online will continue to be updated over the holidays on both the 19th and 26th.
Make sure to stay up to date with our new 4-week Christmas series! We will resume Kidzone in-person on January 2nd.
Have you checked out our Kidzone Resource page with Christmas and devotional resources for your famliy? It’s not too late! You can check those out HERE!
We are heading into our FIRST week of a 4-week Saddleback kids’ CHRISTMAS series! Many of us have become so familiar with the Christmas story that we forget: Mary & Joseph were basically 2 young teenagers thrown into a tough situation! Although Mary and Joseph no doubt questioned the situation they were in, (they WERE humans after all!), they chose to look at it from GOD’s point of view. Scripture tells us that ultimately, they both responded with trust and obedience. God continued to unfold His story with even more ordinary people, including a group of stinky shepherds! He comes to every ordinary one of us and changes us by HIS love and HIS grace! Then it’s up to us to share what God has done, just like those ordinary individuals from the time of Jesus’ birth. Let’s prepare our hearts this season to tell OUR story of the way Jesus has transformed OUR lives!
As usual, these video lesson and family resource postings will be updated by Fridays at 4pm on Kidzone Online.
In His Love,
Pastor Shauna
