Kidzone: December 17 Update
Happy last day of school to all our kids! We are so proud of each one, and pray that the next couple of weeks bring along meaningful time celebrating Jesus for your family, resting, and having FUN!
The Christmas season at the bridge is well under way! Did you know this year’s Christmas Eve services will be THIS Sunday, December 19th at either 3:15pm or 5:15pm? Join us! If registration is full or if you’re more comfortable with virtual, you can tune in online. Though we will not be having in-person Kidzone this Sunday, we do have some fun & special Christmas swag bags for the kids who are present. There may even be a special treat for everyone as you exit! Looking forward to seeing you all and celebrating Christ’s birth!
A reminder that our Kidzone Konnection Groups are taking a break until January 9th, and Kidzone in-person will resume on January 2nd. Please continue to tune into Kidzone Online for weekend lesson updates!
We are heading into our SECOND week of a 4-week Saddleback kids’ CHRISTMAS series! Many of us have become so familiar with the Christmas story that we forget: Mary & Joseph were basically 2 young teenagers thrown into a tough situation! Although Mary and Joseph no doubt questioned the situation they were in, (they WERE humans after all!), they chose to look at it from GOD’s point of view. Scripture tells us that ultimately, they both responded with trust and obedience. God continued to unfold His story with even more ordinary people, including a group of stinky shepherds! He comes to every ordinary one of us and changes us by HIS love and HIS grace! Then it’s up to us to share what God has done, just like those ordinary individuals from the time of Jesus’ birth. Let’s prepare our hearts this season to tell OUR story of the way Jesus has transformed OUR lives!
As usual, these video lesson and family resource postings will be updated by Fridays at 4pm on Kidzone Online.
Sending love to you all as you prepare your hearts for Emmanuel: God with us!
