Kidzone: June 19 Update
Good Morning, Kidzone Families,
I hope you have enjoyed this gorgeous week of sunshine! I’ve been reflecting this week on what it means to, “gaze upon God’s beauty” from Psalm 27:4, and how that transforms my attitudes, actions and my heart. I’m praying this for each of you: that as you fix your eyes upon our beautiful and majestic God, that you’d experience His life-giving transformative power in all walks of your life. Particularly in leading your kids and families!
As we enter this weekend, we want to share a big HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the incredible dads, stepdads, uncles, grandpas and mentors who give of themselves lovingly and sacrificially to others! We honour YOU and are so thankful for YOU! If you’re looking for something for your kids to create for a special guy in their life- check out the attachment below for a Father’s Day printable!
Please don’t forget to also check out our resource page for some helpful updates for talking to your kids about racial justice and what it means to be anti-racist, along with some great children’s literature lists that highlight teaching about this. We have read a couple of them during our lunch-time stories and will continue to in the coming weeks.

Our online summer camp website has been updated, and REGISTRATION FOR ONLINE CAMP IS OPEN! Please note: our STEM Camp options are full, but there is space in our Jungle Beat Music Camp, and unlimited space in our BOLT VBS. We look forward to these being a blessing for those seeking opportunities for their kids to connect and grow with God and with others this summer! (faith-based camp options are marked).
A 3-week online café on “Mindful Parenting” is being offered on Thursday nights until June 25th from 8:00-9:00pm. For more details and other online cafes being offered, head over to https://thebridgemarkham.com/onlinecafe/.
As usual, our weekly Kidzone updates and Sunday experiences are updated on our WEBSITE by Friday at 4:00pm. Check out our Worship Song of the Week, our weekly Mission Challenge, weekly Kidzone Klub devotionals, and more. You can even utilize the new Bridge App to receive Kidzone Online updates by turning on notifications! For Sunday ministry materials, simply scroll down to ‘Kidzone Sunday’ and click on your child’s age group. It’s our heart’s desire to help equip you to disciple your kids at home.

• We will be pausing Kidzone Klub devotionals until the beginning of July when we’ll start a new series of them over the summer- stay tuned!
