Kidzone: March 11 Update
Happy March Break Kidzone Families!
I sincerely hope and pray that your kids have a wonderful week off of school, and that you are able to carve out some special moments to make memories and build deeper relationships as a family!
We have some EXCITING news to share! TOB’s “Kids Branch” and the bridge’s “Kidzone” are working together again to bring you…”Rise Up With Jesus!”: a live Easter experience where kids and their families explore surprising details about Jesus’ resurrection on that glorious day over 2000 years ago, and journey through stations that drive home the truth that Jesus is alive TODAY! Would you join us for this meaningful and memorable experience? We’d love to see you there! We will also be taking the opportunity to GIVE at this event! We are collecting for the Markham Food Bank. Would you help us be on mission this Easter season? If you are able, please drop off non-perishable food donations as you enter and check-in to ‘RISE UP!’ Multiple smaller items are preferred. Head HERE to read all the details and to register today!
We continue with IN-PERSON Kidzone this Sunday, March 13th at 3:15pm at The Olive Branch Church. We would LOVE to see and minister to your kids in person. There are still a couple of spots left, so head HERE to register! Don’t forget it’s SPRING FOWARD this weekend! Clocks go an hour forward before you come to church on Sunday.
We are starting a NEW series called, “ROYALTY” this Sunday! Join us as we explore King David, Solomon, Jehoshaphat and Queen Esther, and learn how WE can be royal when we seek God first above everything else!
Our Online Kidzone Konnection groups are PAUSING this week and next week for March Break! We will resume on March 27th. As usual, our video lessons and family resource postings will be updated by Fridays at 4pm on Kidzone Online.
I also would like to update you, that as of Sunday April 3rd, covid vaccination is no longer a requirement for our Kidzone volunteer teams. This decision stems from taking the lead in cautious ease of restrictions from the Chief Medical Officer, and also the families who desired to have their children vaccinated have now had time to do so.
I cannot believe how quickly my time with you is finishing up! Sunday March 20th will be my last Sunday with the bridge. You will hear from me again next week, but I wanted to share how much I will greatly miss each one of your children, and each of you. It has been one of the greatest honours of my life to serve the Lord through Kidzone’s ministry!
In His Love,
Pastor Shauna
