Kidzone: May 29 Update

May 29, 2020Kidzone Online

Good Morning, Kidzone Families!

I hope and pray you all enjoyed the beautiful warmth and sunshine we received for a major portion of the past week! As we begin to wind down the month of May and enter June, I know there is a lot on your minds: kids finishing out their school year online, how to celebrate endings and new beginnings, being unsure of what the summer months will bring for 2020, and much more. I’ve been meditating on Proverbs 16:9 a lot these days, and I pray that it encourages your heart in this time of unknowns: “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” As someone who personally loves to plan, this season has been a challenge! Can I get an ‘Amen?’ But God has been gently reminding me to submit my plans to Him so that He can work in and through them and ultimately direct my steps toward His perfect will and way. There are sometimes unexpected twists and turns, but there is so much peace in knowing that our unconditionally loving Father in Heaven is in control. Be encouraged—our God is FOR you!

Our online summer camp options and website will be updated on Friday, June 5th! REGISTRATION FOR ONLINE CAMP WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, JUNE 8th at 9:00am! Please note: there are limited spots. Please head to www.thebridgemarkham.com/summercamps next Friday (June 5th) for information regarding our online camp options and Monday, June 8th at 9:00am to register.
