Kidzone: October 29 Update
It’s Pastor Shauna back this week! Thank you so much for your well wishes, prayers and blessings as I was away last weekend for my wedding. I’m so full of gratitude and so glad so many of our kids got to watch the ceremony on Youtube!
Can you believe it’s the last weekend of October? The great thing about that means we are shifting toward Hybrid Kidzone this upcoming month of November! While still providing our online offerings, we will also be launching in-person Kidzone on Sunday, November 7th with limited capacity. Woohoo! We know that in addition to this looking different than the past due to the pandemic, we are also in a brand-new space for the ministry year. As parents & guardians, you may be wondering what that space looks like and what the routine will be on Sundays with your children. WATCH YOU INBOX this weekend for a special video that will provide you a sneak peek, and more information on in-person Kidzone at 3:15pm on Sundays. We are excited!
Pastor Brian has shared with the leadership and congregation that this truly is “a year like no other!” As we gradually transition back to being able to meet together in-person again as the body of Christ, I want to INVITE you to join in the adventure and privilege to disciple and shepherd our kids’ faith in Jesus Christ! Would you prayerfully consider how God may be calling YOU to serve in this season? Would you be willing to take a step of faith and serve Him by serving our children’s ministry? Our kids are hungry and thirsty for relationship and connection. And we have need for you! I’d LOVE to chat more with you or have you fill out our volunteer application form HERE. We’d be honored and overjoyed to put your God-given gifts, talents, time, and willingness to use!
Kidzone Konnection Groups are back again for those who registered this Sunday the 31st at 10am! Please remember to change the name on Zoom to your child’s name to help us get them in the correct break-out room quickly.
We are heading into Week 5 of a 6-week Saddleback kids’ series this Sunday called, “My Friend Jesus!” The desire is for our kids to know that when Jesus is their friend: He shows selfless love, we learn what is important, He shows us the truth about Himself, we are part of God’s big plan, he shows us how to be a good friend, and He shows us how to love no matter what. We are praying that our kids’ hearts would be softened to know and experience the precious gift of LIFE Jesus offers each of them personally, in Himself!
As usual, these video lesson and family resource postings will be updated by Fridays at 4pm on Kidzone Online.
In His Love,
Pastor Shauna
