Good Friday Offering

Every year, we receive an offering where 100% of it goes to meeting life changing needs in our community and world. This year’s offering will be taken on behalf of ERDO and GAiN. Our Good Friday Offering will be open from March 29 to April 12.

ERDO

Through Emergency Relief and Development Overseas (ERDO), we will support: 

  • Emergency food assistance in Sudan and Yemen, where ongoing civil war has created severe food insecurity. 

Thanks to ERDO’s partnership with the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, this project is matched 4:1. Every $1 donated can unlock up to $4 in government support—meaning $1 becomes $5 to help hungry families. 

  • Nutrition for children and mothers living with disabilities and malnutrition in Malawi. 

Through Canadian government funding administered by the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, this project is matched 1:1, doubling the impact of every dollar given.

GAiN

Through Global Aid Network Canada (GAiN), we will support: 

  • The construction of a well in Togo, where more than 2.5 million people lack access to safe water. Many in these communities have also never had the opportunity to hear about the unconditional love of Jesus. This project aims to bring both life-giving water and eternal hope to some of the country’s most marginalized communities. Over the course of two years, GAiN aims to bring clean water and Gospel engagement to thirty unreached communities across the Tchamba region of East Central Togo. This area is home to both the Tchamba and Basila unreached people groups. Through this initiative, GAiN anticipates directly reaching 30,000 people with safe water, spiritual outreach, and critical community training. 


GAiN Canada is a Christian international relief and development organization founded in 1998. Its mission is to reveal hope by sharing God’s unconditional love and restoring life by demonstrating the Gospel through compassionate action among those living in injustice, poverty, and crisis. Their work focuses on four integrated areas that foster lasting, whole-person transformation: Water for Life Initiative, Disaster Relief and Preparedness, Economic Empowerment, and Local Church Partnerships.
