MOSAIC INTERFAITH OUT OF THE COLD PROGRAM—(On hold this season)
On Monday nights each winter, we open our doors to those in our community experiencing homelessness or in need of food and clothing. All who come leave with a lunch for the next day and transportation tokens. For those guests who stay overnight, beds are provided for a safe, warm place to sleep and breakfast is provided in the morning.
MARKHAM FOOD BANK
The leanest time of the year for Canadian food banks is July to August. The Markham Food Bank has difficulty providing the minimum amount of grocery support during those months and can give very little variety. Our annual SHARE food drive helps fill this gap!
